  • Material type: Mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized steel, high-strength steel, and other sheet metals.


  • Material thickness: If your production involves various thicknesses, it is recommended to select equipment based on the most demanding routine application.


  • Bending length: The working length determines the maximum width of the workpiece that can be bent in a single operation.


  • Required tonnage: Bending force depends on material strength, thickness, bending length, bottom die opening size, and the bending method.


  • Number of CNC axes: Simple parts may only require a basic axis configuration. Complex parts may require additional X, R, Z1, and Z2 axes for more flexible backgauge positioning.


  • Tooling system: The tooling system should be carefully considered before purchasing the equipment. Common options include: European-style, American-style, WILA-compatible, Amada-style, Trumpf-compatible, and custom tooling.
